Pristine Pool and Spa Glenn Fadden

Glenn Fadden

Owner

With almost 45 years of involvement in the pool industry, there is almost nothing that Glenn hasn't experienced. His depth of knowledge and experience is virtually unparalleled when it comes to building pools. A large portion of his career was spent building Gunite (concrete) pools, and that remains his passion to this day. But he's equally adept at building fiberglass pools and vinyl liner installations.

His goal when he and his wife, Dawn, started Pristine Pool & Spa was to create a company where he could build pools the way he wanted to construct them. The right way! He poured all his passion and knowledge into this endeavor and it surpassed all his wildest dreams. Starting a company from essentially nothing and building it into a thriving and robust business with over 250 service clients, with anywhere from 15-25 new projects completed annually, is a testament to his fortitude, passion, and dedication to building a pool.

The stellar reputation and good name he has created for himself in the community were achieved through many years of hard work and sacrifice. The pool installations he's completed as the leader of the Pristine team over the past 14+ years have laid the foundation for the creation of a lifetime of memories in and around the pool for hundreds of local homeowners. That is the legacy, and everyone who works here is proud to be a part of continuing to uphold the example he has set.

Pristine Pool and Spa Alexis

"Lex"

Operations Manager

Alexis (Lex) is a New Buffalo native and New Buffalo High School graduate. Lex’s background is in the printing industry, so the pool and spa business is a second career for him. While he wasn’t familiar with the pool industry, he has grown to love it and plans on working at Pristine Pool & Spa LLC until he retires.

Lex joined us in the spring of 2020, right after COVID-19 hit. At the time, we saw a nearly 400-500% increase in demand for pools and spas, practically overnight. So Lex filled a need we didn’t even have until that point. We created the Logistics Coordinator position so that we have a main person with whom homeowners can interface throughout the entire duration of the project. Then, at the start of 2024, Lex was promoted to Operations Manager, helping to oversee the service side of the company as well.

His responsibilities include using our CAD software to create site plans for clients or prospective clients, submitting building permit applications, and pretty much anything else that has to do with a project from start to finish. Lex is also our hot tub/spa salesman. If you’re interested in purchasing a hot tub or swim spa, please contact him for a showing.

Pristine Pool and Spa Dylan Rother

Construction Manager

Dylan has been in the pool business for decades. Dylan also has a background in general construction, so he was a natural choice to head our construction team when the company was started in 2010. His vast knowledge helps meet all our client's needs during our new builds. Whether it's a request to add a composite deck, sink spa, or even something as large as adding a pool house to the project plans, Dylan is always up to the challenge.

Dylan personally oversees all of our construction projects as well as our rehab/repair projects. He is actively involved in all aspects of our new pool installations, helping to ensure a seamless project for our customers. With retirement looming on the horizon for Glenn, Dylan's presence helps guarantee that the level of excellence and quality work Pristine has come to be known for will continue for many years to come.

Pristine Pool and Spa Richard Martinache

Service Manager

Richard was born and raised in the Reno/Tahoe area. He's been involved in the pool industry for decades and has worked in 8 different states. He enjoys computers and the science behind everything. Richard joined the Pristine team in 2015 as Service Manager. He was instrumental in helping build the Service side of the company from a handful of clients to over 250 long-term clients today.

His passion for the industry was first fostered by his father, whose pool company he assisted with from a very young age. Later in life, he found another influential mentor in Pristine's owner, Glenn. Richard prides himself on the one-on-one relationships he has with our service clients. Having these relationships helps ensure that we not only meet but exceed our customers' expectations. It helps anticipate their needs and prevent problems by knowing their system setups in great detail.

While he's moved around a lot in his career, he has planted firm roots in the area. He loves the family environment we have here at Pristine. As a member of the local community, he has a lot of integrity in what we do and how we treat our customers. We are building and providing a service centered around fun. Richard finds this very rewarding and is looking forward to continuing to provide exceptional service to a growing list of customers.

Pristine Pool and Spa Brittney Palenske

Assistant Service Manager

Brittney joined us as a Service Tech in 2017. She was promoted to Crew Trainer and again to Assistant Service Manager. Her expertise in water chemistry is invaluable to our clients. She's been known to work miracles with pool water and resolve significant water issues in record time. She's a key member of our team, whose knowledge helps ensure we maximize "uptime" for our clients' pools and spas. She's a team player willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, including assisting our construction team when needed.
